[Update?: Is it possibly a Team Mini Red Bull Formula 1 Racing Can-Car Mini Cooper Pick Up ™ ®]

Spotted in Birmingham at Performance Imports at the corner of 3rd South and 24th. Am I missing something here (is the car missing something?), or is this a mini pickup? How is this even a thing? I know jack squat about Minis, but this looks interesting.

It’s funny, we have somebody see one of these and ask about it probably every 2-4 months. These are just uncommon enough that it’s not *quite* common knowledge where they come from.

I thought the same thing but the other former Team Mini Red Bull Formula 1 Racing Can-Car Mini Cooper Pick Up ™ ® all seem to be silver as their base. The red looks way better. Maybe this one escaped the lab before they could hump a can onto its back. Maybe they set it free when its can simply refused to grow. We’ll never know.

I saw an actual ORIGINAL Mini pick-up at costco. The bed as so tiny! Dude left before I could snap pictures, but it was green and obviously home-made.
